The US has two large health care coverage programs available to immigrants, Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). SCHIP is an enhanced program where the federal government matches funds to states in order to expand health insurance coverage to children. SCHIP serves about 5 million children providing coverage for children ineligible for Medicaid, and covers prenatal care regardless of immigration status.
C.A.S can assist you to easily navigate state and federal safety net programs. We provide education about social programs that you can qualify and benefit from, lead the application process alongside with you.
There are no adverse consequences of joining the government programs on your immigration status, such as deportation or difficulties gaining permanent residency. Many immigrants can receive health benefits from Medicaid or SCHIP without endangering their immigration status.

Community Outreach
A very little number of the many African immigrants in New York reside in Metro New York. This leaves the larger portion being disperse throughout the rest of New Yorkâour effort extends to other like-serviced group to connect our programs and services to our audiences and the general public.
We take on the dissemination of ideas and engage our target communities with the available services we offered.
